• Real Collaboration

Far too often collaboration across different sites is limited to 'enterprise' document sharing, weekly conference calls and TPS reports. The best companies have realized that real collaboration is working and engaging with others to allow knowledge and ideas to flow freely.

Collaborate i/o includes the tools necessary for real collaboration between different sites.

Simultaneous Users

Cut down on finger pointing by getting all the necessary resources on the same page. Up to 8 users can simultaneously be logged into a single Collaborate i/o session. Software engineer, firmware engineer, application scientists, manufacturing tech, systems engineer, mechanical engineer, and field service engineer--bring them all in so you're working in sync.

Invite others quickly and easily

We want to make it easy for you to get help from others and to give help to others, so we've made it stupid simple to invite others to join your Collaborate i/o session. Just enter their email address and they'll be automatically sent an email with a link to connect. No form with tons of personal information required, no software to install, no sign-up required, no email confirmation, no approval from a corporate overmind. Just click the link and start getting things done!

Augmented Reality: Shared Markup

Shared markup allows you to draw sketches on top of the live video and those sketches show up on other users screens (like magic!). After you're done drawing a mustache on your co-worker you'll find it incredibly useful to highlight a PCB test point, sketch a design change, or indicate a direction of movement. Augmented Reality means the system is smart enough to move your sketches as the camera rotates and zooms.

Augmented Reality: Shared Notes

Shared notes allows you add a push pin with notes to the live video feed. The push pin and notes are automatically synced to other users. This can be incredibly useful for attracting people's attention to things such as a a burnt resistor, a critical feature, or a worn belt. Plus with Augmented Reality, the system is smart enough to move the push pin and notes as the camera rotates and zooms.

Automatic Documentation (coming soon)

Documentation: the bane of every engineer's existence. You've spent a few hours debugging a problem and finally have everything straightened out. But, now you have to spend another hour or two taking pictures and neatly documenting your fix so the next guy doesn't run into the same problem. Collaborate i/o makes documentation pain-free. Just click a button and your shared markup and shared notes are saved with an image. Instant documentation!

Save Video (coming soon)

With Collaborate i/o you the option to save video that is synced with the audio from the teleconference. This can be tremendously useful for those situations where you can't quite remember the sequence of events leading up to a fix or failure. Now you can review the tape and retrace your steps.
